The foreword to the Code of good practice on the integration of employment equity into human resources policies and practices (the Code) states that in addition to imposing a duty on employers to eliminating discrimination at workplaces, the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998 also provides a framework for the attraction, development, the advancement and retention of an employer’s human resources talent.
